The author’s got a lot of stories that are interesting。 This is mostly a plant forward approach to diet。 You start out with a three day scrub diet which is pretty restrictive to just good plant food。 The next phase is a four day soak it up phase which has just a few more foods in it。 The ten-day stabilize phase is designed to help you continue with good habits。One of the highlights is that lose weight, you have to think 90% diet and 10% exercise。 So in this diet no sugar no potatoes and especial The author’s got a lot of stories that are interesting。 This is mostly a plant forward approach to diet。 You start out with a three day scrub diet which is pretty restrictive to just good plant food。 The next phase is a four day soak it up phase which has just a few more foods in it。 The ten-day stabilize phase is designed to help you continue with good habits。One of the highlights is that lose weight, you have to think 90% diet and 10% exercise。 So in this diet no sugar no potatoes and especially at the beginning no meat。 I think the main thing is no sugar。 。。。more

While I have not yet put this into practice, it does have some useful information and if followed will definitely help kick the sugar habit, if that is what is holding you back。 About 40% of the book is healthy recipes which I love。 The book is well organized and goes into everything from detoxing, getting your body moving, supplements, relieving stress and more。 While I borrowed this from the library, I may purchase it to have to look over again。

I think that for some this would be a good starting point。 It did give recipes at the end that seem pretty simple。 And a menu plan。 Pretty simple and straightforward。

Thank you to Net Galley, Mike Moreno, and Simon & Schuster for the advance digital galley。 Unfortunately, I did not find this book to contain any new information about nutrition and health。 The “diet” seemed so restrictive and unsustainable and the “exercise” seemed really rudimentary (crunches, lunges, arm circles)。 It was laughable - truly made me laugh。 I wonder if the target audience is 65+? #NetGalley
